LIONEL AUDIO: Miscellany

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers.” Thus spake Carroll Quigley, a mentor of Bill Clinton’s. The left/right paradigm is an illusion. This concept has been on my mind a lot. It’s core to my political ideology and if it’s adopted, political discussion and discourse will cease to exist as we know it.

Other stuff inter alia: Paladino and gay folks, Ann Coulter and the politics of hate, the boring lefties and the excruciatingly boring right-wingers, Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell and Shut Up & Shoot, just to name a few. My latest contribution.

With much thanks.
