First, look at this photo captured from the video described herein. Just look at it closely. Notice anything odd?
The much cited AP story reads verbatim as indicated infra.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – A new video shows a cloud of gray smoke rising in the sky minutes after United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in western Pennsylvania on Sept. 11, 2001.
The Tribune-Democrat newspaper of Johnstown says the video was filmed and narrated by Somerset County resident Dave Berkebile, who died this year.
Berkebile calmly reports a plane has crashed a few miles from his Berlin home and assumes a link to the other terror attacks that day.
Donna Glessner is collecting oral histories for the National Park Service. She believes the video is the earliest footage of the crash in Shanksville, a rural area southeast of Pittsburgh.
Flight 93 crashed as passengers fought four hijackers. Investigators believe the plane was going 580 mph upon impact.
Forty passengers and crew members perished.
This is the same crash site located a field in Stonycreek Township, Pennsylvania near Shanksville. Notice anything odd?
Former Georgia Senator Max Cleland, who was appointed to the 9/11 commission in 2002, became the chief critic of the Bush White House stonewalling over the release of documents and blatant and deliberate lack of cooperation.
In October 2033, Cleland said the Bush administration was purposely stalling the investigation because of the 2004 election. Cleland said, “As each day goes by, we learn that this government knew a whole lot more about these terrorists before Sept. 11 than it has ever admitted.” I’ll bet you won’t be hearing too much from Ol’ Max in the immediate future as we remember 9/11.
Likewise, “We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting,” commission member Tim Roemer told CNN. “We were not sure of the intent, whether it was to deceive the commission or merely part of the fumbling bureaucracy.”
9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerry also has unanswered questions. In a Salon.com piece he believes that there are legitimate reasons to believe an alternative version to the official story. “There are ample reasons to suspect that there may be some alternative to what we outlined in our version,” Kerry said. The commission had limited time and limited resources to pursue its investigation, and its access to key documents and witnesses was obstructed by government agencies and key administration officials.
I guess Cleland, Roemer and Kerry are tin foil hat conspiracy nuts.
