LIONEL NEW: Why Most Things Suck & Other Observations

There is nothing more fun than thought exploration. You start at Point A, lock and load and fire at will. Thoughts careen and carom. You end up sometimes in places you never thought you’d be. Places so dark and murky, you’re almost scared. Like Lakeland, Fawda. I express thought like expressing a purulent wound. Thoughts ooze and exude, they seep, trickle and drip. I’d better stop now.

Søren Kierkegaard reminded us that “[g]eniuses are like thunderstorms. They go against the wind, terrify people, cleanse the air.” You are that thunderstorm, my friend. And it all begins with observation.

But first, let me remind you of an intrepid lot whose cause is being marginalized. By a crew of criminally ignorant misanthropes who hate in some strange way those who’ve the intrepidity and gumption to speak up and out. And that’s tragic.
