LIONEL PODCAST: What the Hell Is Obamacare Anyway?

Why are we clapping, Rachel? Obamacare is constitutional. Not under the commerce clause, mind you, but under Congress’s inherent power to tax which POTUS Barry swore this wasn’t. Huh? And nobody has a clue as to what the hell that even means. I mean they talk a good game. Obama hatin’ Repubi-cons swear it’s the end of civilization. Obama acolytes and MSDNC types laud his brilliance, But both sides share one thing in common: nobody has a clue as to what the hell Obamacare even means. But look, Sparky, that never stopped you before and it won’t now. In less than a week this will be forgotten. Obama haters still hate; his disciples still fawn. The only ones to watch are the undecided and swing voters.

The definitive videos that explain all you need to know to appear mildly conversant. That about covers it.

LIONEL PODCAST: “Freedom, well, that’s just some people talking.”

Duck and cover, Jethro. You are a rat in a maze. You spin about crazedly and without surcease. In your little cage. Don’t feel bad, I do it too. But I’ve a better view. And, no, I’ve no idea what that means. But there’s a certain lyricism to it.

Royal pains in the arse. I’ve hit the saturation point as to those Royals. Royals?! Oh, puh-leeze. A bunch of inbred monozygotic trolls whose family tree looks like a Brussels sprout. This is one of my most watched videos. I think you’ll immediately see why.

LIONEL PODCAST: I Can’t Believe How Much This Guy Sucks. Seriously.

Let me count the ways. This is the worst lawyer in the world. Period. No one gets close to him. No one. He is the quintessential reference to “sucks.” He’s without peer in the sucking department. No one but no one sucks at anything more than this guy sucks at lawyering high profile serial rape cases.

We may be Penn State. But the university, the football team and Gawd knows what’s toast. I truly feel for the people who’ve tethered their souls to this hallowed institution. But now, thanks to Sandusky, Paterno and a Sgt. Schultz group of big wigs, it may all be over. No, this won’t bankrupt Penn State, but no one can even gauge just how badly the image and brand have been irreparably scarred. The lawsuits will begin in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1.

LIONEL PODCAST: The Creation of Your Reality. Manufactured and Fabricated.

Edward Louis Bernays (November 22, 1891 – March 9, 1995) is considered one of fathers of propaganda and public relations. You are awash in it. You’re smothered by it. You can’t even breathe.

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”

“We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized.”

“The American motion picture is the greatest unconscious carrier of propaganda in the world today. It is a great distributor for ideas and opinions.”

“Propaganda will never die out. Intelligent men must realize that propaganda is the modern instrument by which they can fight for productive ends and help to bring order out of chaos.”

“It is not necessary for the politician to be the slave of the public’s group prejudices, if he can learn how to mold the mind of the voters in conformity with his own ideas of public welfare and public service. The important thing for the statesman of our age is not so much to know how to please the public, but to know how to sway the public.”

“In the ethical sense, propaganda bears the same relation to education as to business or politics. It may be abused. It may be used to over-advertise an institution and to create in the public mind artificial values. There can be no absolute guarantee against its misuse.”

Quo vadis? There are podcasts and then there are podcasts. This is a podcast. One of my finest. And remember, it’s a subscription service. De minimis to say the least.

Whether it’s weather . . . whither? To the insane proponents of vapid weather broadcasts, this one’s for you.

LIONEL PODCAST: The Immutable Reality of the Futility of Voting. I’m Just Saying.

Barry O, no. Don’t get too crazy about Barry O. Thinks are looking lousy now. Fast and Furious ain’t going away and this could be his Watergate. He’s not as popular as you think and definitely not so with the ruling class. And guess what. Obama wouldn’t mind either way. His heart’s not in this.

And speaking of perjury. Well, I was. Last night. Here’s my latest installment of thought. And thanks.

LIONEL PODCAST: They’re All the Same. Two Sides of the Same Coin. I KEEP TELLING YOU!

Clemens the tutorial. Here’s a primer on the Fifth Amendment. What you need to know about it, what to say, what not to say, what to avoid, how not to waive it, the dangerous troika (witness, subject and target). This is critical to know because it speaks to who we are as a country also. The cornerstone of the Fifth is ofttimes forgotten. Just look at today: drug testing, polygraphing, checkpoints, TSA screening. You’re brought forward in some queue or line and presumed guilty of something whereupon you prove your innocence by going through a clearance tribunal, viz. backscatter ionizing and the like.

Rodney, we hardly knew ye. And enjoy this eulogium to a man who changed the face of civilization. And Rodney King as well.

LIONEL PODCAST: Media Automourn. The Human Piñata Rodney King. We Still Can’t Get Along.

Automourn defined. When the media employ a one size fits all approach to a death, any death, in the media, that’s automourn. Ted Baxter has lost the ability to discern and differentiate. Why? Because they have to feed 24/7 news beast. And when Rodney King dies, it’s news. It’s automourn. I’m not dismissing the significance of Mr. King’s loss but not being insignificant does not significant make.

Neo-Zapruder. When I learned that King had been found dead in his pool, the first thing I thought was: He had a pool?! But keep in mind that Rodney King, the human piñata, ushered in the era of the citizen journalist and amateur videographer. Without that video, no words could have explained what occurred. Not since the Zapruder film has a piece of video changed the world.

Coprolalia. Enjoy the video and the podcast. And thanks.

LIONEL PODCAST: Think What You Want. But Know, Most Assuredly, It’s Wrong. You’re Welcome.

Mention this crew the next time someone brings up Bildergerg. The Mont Pelerin Society is an international organization composed of economists, including eight winner recipients of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences), philosophers, historians, intellectuals, business leaders, and others who favor classical liberalism. (N.B. Don’t let that fool you.) Can you say “Austrian School”? Its founders included Friedrich Hayek, Karl Popper, Ludwig von Mises, George Stigler, and Milton Friedman — the precursors and intellectual antecedents to Ron Paul and libertarians around the world.

There, you learned something new today. You’re welcome.

So put your tray tables up. Watch the video infra I and listen to the podcast. The subject is . . . well,  you’ll see.

LIONEL PODCAST: You’re a Psychopath. Don’t Feel Bad. So Am I. But You’re Worse.

Take a good look. Is this you?Look at this picture. This is America. This is who we are. A close-minded, hateful, cloistered group of frighteningly narrow-minded and sexually provincial nitwits. And no matter how we advance in other areas of society, no matter the area(s), when it comes to gay marriage, we’re clueless.

As to poverty, we’re the opposite. We couldn’t care less. Oh, we talk a good game. Especially the unabashedly devout Christian. And what did Jesus talk about, almost exclusively? The poor.

Anyhoo, enjoy the podcast and thanks for subscribing.

But first, a word about words. The scourge of maledicta and criminal coprolalia.

LIONEL PODCAST: You Create Reality. You Establish Verity. It’s All An Illusion.

Niccolo Machiavelli noted, “Hatred is gained as much by good works as by evil.” And nothing enrages the masses more than the truth. The easy thing to do is play it safe. Say the usual, the benign. The Morning Joe bit. Pabulum, straight, safe. Bunkum. But always approved by Meager’s daddy “The Big Zbig” Brzezinski, a man whose foreign policy power with the Obama group is without peer. Go ahead, play it safe. Don’t rock the boat. Don’t make waves, ruffle feathers or stir the pot.

Even Jon Stewart, who deserves tremendous plaudits and encomia for making politics palatable to younger folks, misses the point altogether. He perpetuates the left-right mythical paradigm. He’s the antipode of Faux News. They’re two sides of the same coin. As is American politics.

With that, my friend, I thank you again for subscribing to this here podcast.
