LIONEL PODCAST: Drones, GMOs, Syria, Putin, Assad, ISIS and the Magic Mirror

This makes no sense. And therein lies the theme to today’s show. Enjoy.

LIONEL PODCAST: Guns, Critical Thinking & What Do You Not Want to Know You’re Eating

What exactly do you not want to know you’re eating?

As the 2016 presidential race continues to rehash and redeliver over social policy and fiscal responsibility, no one is talking about another key issue: all of the major candidates are in complete, direct and unequivocal opposition to GMO labeling — and many are directly supporting Monsanto’s GE and biotech aspirations. These bought and sold hack, Big Agra whores not mentioned in the least by the equally bought and sold presstitutes. And let me repeat again, Sparky, we’re talking about what you’re eating! EATING! Now keep in mind, these are the same folks who believe whole cloth in such unverified blather as anthropogenic causation models for global warming and climate change. These are the same Boeotians who weep uncontrollably over the prettiest graphic of a cute polar bear club clinging for life to an ice cube that used to be an iceberg. The same folks who rail against antiscience zealotry and who turn to their media darlings Neil Degrasse Tyson and Bill Nye for answers to everything ignore the fact that these are the two biggest gate keepers of the lot. With Bill Nye having been bought like a street trollop by Monsanto directly! Look no further then Dr. Oz’s treatment when he dared to question the safety of glyphosate. This is still the biggest story that gets virtually no coverage by a distracted and painfully ignorant news repeaters and incurious public.

And — you guessed it — not a peep from the #MSM, especially when considering how the public is in complete agreement merely as to labeling!

The Second Amendment is an absolute right, not a suggestion. This seemed to slip by the pols and Jurassic ossified mainstream media. With a population of 319 million, the United States seems to be populated by people who for the most part are law abiding. Rough estimates establish the number of firearms in the hands of US civilians at over 310 million. So, think about that. There’s roughly one weapon per person in the United States yet the number of police officers and civilians killed by them is per se de minimis. And never forget this: It is the ultimate goal of every politician for complete and total disarmament. It is the absolute and established desire of every politician and leader to remove the ability for them to fight back and resist. And that’s precisely the goal of the previous Second Amendment, to prevent that.

LIONEL PODCAST: When Pop Star Scientists and Magicians Drift Into Areas They Know Nothing About

The perfect analogy. Detective Frank Drebin in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988) is an imposter, an undercover cop pretending he’s a major league umpire and hoping no one catches on. He’s a cop in an area and venue he knows nothing of and about. But once he says the right thing and hears the roar of the audience’s applause he’s off and running. Repeating that which inspired the ovation even though he has no idea of what he’s doing or what it even means. Classic operant conditioning meeting Pavlov head-on.

Today’s media Drebins. Now, let’s meet these guys. Today’s crop of talented folks — in their own specific fields — often stray beyond their ken and bailiwick. Take the inimitable troika of Neil deGrasse Tyson, Penn Jillette and Bill Nye: astrophysicist, magician and mechanical engineer, respectively. Media darlings and popular among the throngs of doting admirers. Fine. And since they’re the darlings of the nescient, impressionable and easily duped left, they debunk and validate a host of ideas and concepts, often with serious political and international global consequences, without the slightest idea of what they’re speaking of or about. GMOs, aliens, climate change, global warming, conspiracy theories, Big Brother, surveillance, glyphosate, JFK’s assassination, 9/11 . . . the list is endless. And as for aliens, Tyson mockingly derides those who claim EBEs exist or have visited, thus calling into question a host of notables, including astronauts, military personnel, heads of state and even (though this probably means nothing) the Vatican astronomer. Watch his aliens schtick here and you tell me if this guy’s Shecky status hasn’t gone a little too far.To be fair, Sagan the Great also provided yeoman’s work in gatekeeping but with a certain degree of elegant aplomb.

It’s a free country. And it’s not that they are not allowed to opine on a subject, it’s that they provide the lamest and weakest of substantiation either for or against a topic without any understanding of the deeper issues and implications. Not to mention, Nye’s 180 as to GMOs after attending a meeting with Monsanto execs redefines suspicious. And as for Jillette, well, Penn believes there’s nothing to anything, except for his half-baked and diluted attempts at refutation. But one must admire his deftness in dropping F-bombs with a frequency and verve that’s unequaled.

It happens. Because, when you enter the world of rock star, media darling and pop culture icon, it can affect you. Look no further than Noam Chomsky, who, in addition to some pretty brilliant observations, provides a jaw-dropping dismissive explication of 9/11, the Fed and JFK’s assassination.

Oh, yes, one more thing. The incredible complexity of Yemen.

LIONEL PODCAST: We Invade Countries And Kill Leaders For Their Water As Much As Their Oil

The Nubian Sandstone Aquifer System is the world’s largest known fossil water aquifer system. It is located underground in the Eastern end of the Sahara Desert. Gaddafi had invested $25B into the aquifer, which he announced had the potential to turn Libya that is 95 percent desert into an arable and fertile oasis. You know how that ended.

California’s nothing. California Goober Jerry Brown this week ordered mandatory water reductions for the first time ever in California’s history, citing the state’s four-year drought crisis after a winter of record-low snowfalls. This is nothing compared to what’s in store. I’ve written about this and have been most outspoken. In September of last year I penned the following tour de force, ’twas hailed by critics! I commend it to you herewith.

LIONEL PODCAST: ISIS-SCHMISIS! Unearthing the Sordid History of the American Nightmare and Welcome to Hydro-Imperialism

What it’s like to die from dehydration. This depiction from the documentary Blue Gold: World Water Wars.

“In 1906, Pablo Valencia, dared the journey from Mexico to California in search of gold. He survived without water for a week, seven days. He was rescued and documented the experience of thirst. Saliva becomes thick. The tongue swells so large that it squeezes past the jaws. The throat so swollen that breathing becomes difficult creating a terrifying sense of asphyxiation. The face feels full due to the shrinking of the skin. Many people begin to hallucinate. The eyelids red, the eyeballs begin to weep tears of blood. When Pablo Valencia was found, his skin was like purplish grey leather, scratched but with no traces of blood. His lips were disappeared as if squished and contriturated. His nose was at so hard its length. His eyes trapped in an insensate stare. This is not a film about saving the environment, it’s a film about saving ourselves, because whatever one’s environmental, political or religious opinions, whatever one’s race, sex or economic standing, whoever of us goes without water for a week, cries blood.”

Recalibrating the notion of right. Let me review a few things. First, we are in the third wave of colonialism. The first two saw gold and petro-imperailsm as its goals and now it’s hydrology and hydro-imperialism. There is no way to find alternatives to water and hydration. The human body is funny that way. And Mama Nature has steadfastly announced  that the supply of the world’s water is necessarily limited and fixed, this despite the fact that demand is rising as the world’s exploding and burgeoning population increases without surcease. (Unless the eugenicists have a crack at changing that.)

Another commodity to seize, another vehicle of imperialism. By 2030 climate vicissitudes, population growth, critical pollution, deforestation and rampant urbanization will multiply to such an extent that the demand for water globally is estimated to outstrip supply by 40%! There are no stopgap measures available, as you may have noticed. Keep in mind also that as a dutiful and unquestioning mainstream media sign off on each and every military adventure allegedly caused by the terrorist bad guy du jour, the real reason for hostilities, the real casus belli will be water.

The current Chairman and former CEO of Nestlé, the largest producer of food products in the world, believes that the answer to global water issues is privatization. This statement is on record from the wonderful company that has peddled junk food in the Amazon, has invested money to thwart the labeling of GMO-filled products, has a disturbing health and ethics record for its infant formula, and has deployed a cyber army to monitor Internet criticism and shape discussions in social media. [Global Research December 2013]

Right? What right? Increasingly, for water to be useful, it needs to be mined, processed, packaged, and transported, just like gold, coal, gas or oil. Unlike oil, there are no substitutes, alternatives or stopgaps for water. And with that come inordinate and incomprehensible potentials for mind-blowing profit. This is a marvelous treatise I commend to you.

“Water, water, everywhere,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, everywhere,
Nor any drop to drink.”

Samuel Taylor Coleridge, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

According to the U.S.-based Center for Public Integrity, Western nations stand to make up to a US$1 trillion from privatizing, purifying and distributing water in a region where water often sells for far more than oil.

Although over two thirds of our planet is water, we face an acute shortage. This scarcity flies in the face of our natural assumptions. The problem is that 97 percent is salt water. Great for fish, not so good for humans. Of the world’s fresh water, only one percent is available for drinking, with the remaining two percent trapped in glaciers and ice.

Put differently: if all the water on earth was represented by an 11-litre jug, the freshwater would fill a single cup, and we can only access the last drop.

LIONEL PODCAST: Amy Schumer’s “C**t”

The perfect word for perfect deception. That’s the truth. Bullshit, that is. All that you’re told is mendacious connivance. Period. Partly with the desire to confuse and distort but mostly out of laziness and intellectual torpor. No need to clarify or explain. No need to illuminate and counter the status quo. The Jurassic mainstream media in particular are mere trying to tread water, unaware that there’s a landslide upon them, nearing down and in its crosshairs. They’ve no interest in challenging convention or the status quo. No concerns either way about much of anything. You’re awash in an avalanche of bullshit. How’s that for imagery. And it’s not necessarily from the media front tier itself. Everything, repeat, everything is perfumed with the contaminant and taint of bovine egesta. Herein, today’s playlist inter alia.

  • Amy Schumer. She’s box office and boffo. Without a doubt. And one more thing. Profoundly unfunny and ordinary. Pedestrian humor. And that’s a compliment. White trash and been there, done that. Bowling alley. The message is the shock, the words used, the unabashed scabrous delivery. Unimaginative. “I’m gonna get it tattooed on my clit.” Feminism, that is. Wow, cutting edge. Bravo, Amy! Brilliant! And her deep thoughts on feminism. “I don’t think people know what the word feminism means: a social and political equality for women. I think if you’re against that, you’re a crazy person, or you don’t know what it means, and that we don’t actually have it is a bummer. It feels like we should be further along.” Double wow. This is her attempt at latching on to the meme, the idea, the label. Bumper sticker and playbook. Echo chamber and cookie-cutter. Feminism for dummies. Titular and scripted.
  • The human self has five components. Machines now have three of them. How far away is artificial consciousness – and what does it tell us about ourselves? This is very bad news. As I describe herein, when warfare was made impersonal and separate and far apart the frequency of war increased. When you dehumanize the contact and separate the context, you ensure that more wars will follow. With drones, satellites and a deadly telemetry, add to the list the robot two completely separate us from the heart and soul of devastation. Throw into the mix a concept that is never referred to by the Jurassic mainstream media, transhumanism (the belief or theory that the human race can evolve beyond its current physical and mental limitations, especially by means of science and technology), and hang on for your dear life.
  • The brilliance of “Schitt’s Creek,” cheap humor and feigned reluctance to pronounce the word. Amen.
  • Charlie Sheen joins the racist league. The most overused word next to awesome, hilarious and epic. Charlie refers to Obama’s admitted provenance and his stepfather’s surname and the knee-jerk, Pavlovian obeisant usual suspects weigh in with pitchforks and torches aloft, screaming racist!
  • GMOs at SXSW. The most misunderstood threat to humanity in years. And you would think with all of the counterfeit healthy types with their yoga mats and smoothies and cleansings and detoxifiers and purgings, you would think they would know a thing or two about GMOs. Critical concepts: you would think.
  • The Obama-Bibi “work.” You should not expect the professional left to have a clue as to what the reason Israeli elections were all about. But in what could be one of the greatest examples of Machiavellian conspiracies, wouldn’t it be interesting if Obama and Bibi contrived and constructed the entire event for the latter’s benefit?
  • Feckless news media. Admittedly a fixation of mine. In view of the hubris and self-styled expertise that these autodidacts and children purport to evince, I must enjoy the topic because it consumes me daily.
  • The five shits. Bull, horse, ape, bat and chicken. The scatological quintet. Now, while I’m not wont to wax profane I do love eloquence and breviloquence in particular. But bullshit and horseshit connote falsity. Apeshit and batshit indicate becoming over-enthused and losing one’s mind. And chickenshit is the ultimate in de minimis.

LIONEL PODCAST: Awash in Calumny the Constitutionalists Soldier On

Behold our priorities. And marvel at the set-up. Think about it. The guy’s toast over ____ (your favorite pudendal reference here). I mean it’s beautiful. And I hope you saw Dr. Paul’s valedictory to Congress. ‘Twas stellar, insightful, elegant. The gravamen of his indictment was referring to them as psychopathic authoritarians. How beautiful is that? Being an American has never been more fun.

Did someone say “video”? Well, too bad.

LIONEL PODCAST: Dave’s Honeypot, Benghazi Diverted, P-tards That Hoist & Goober Prompterbot Stares Narcotized

Not buying it. Oh, sure, that he’s an idiot. Fine. I know that. But the timing?! Come on, Sparky. Wake up. Look this is the issue. This is where the fighters are. Look, look at the map. This is the issue not Petraeus, though he’s a schmuck and his ouster is certainly warranted. But be not diverted. Look, this is Cyrenaica. Specifically the Benghazi-Darnah-Tobruk corridor. This is al Qaeda. These are the rebels. This is where they originate. That’s the issue! But it would only make sense to provide a framed analysis there. But that would take time and effort and knowledge. Goober Prompterbot reporting for duty!

I sound like a broken record. No, I am a broken record. I’ve preached this since the Ides of March in 2011. As has the world.

Please review this most thorough compendium of the subject. It’s truly remarkable and worth perusing.

The Hindustan Times reported last year:

“There is no question that al Qaeda’s Libyan franchise, Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, is a part of the opposition,” Bruce Riedel, former CIA officer and a leading expert on terrorism, told Hindustan Times.

It has always been Qaddafi’s biggest enemy and its stronghold is Benghazi.

Now do you see? Please nod. Hello? Anyone in there?

Tada! And now, something that might re-inspire a faith in the mainstream media. Prithee.

LIONEL PODCAST: Post-election “Freudenschade” Infects My Soul. And I Called It From Day One.

Deliriously happy for reasons they know not. I’m still unclear what the idea is. Try this on for size? 10 dire consequences of Obama’s re-election victory. So many folks I know in two categories: the insanely morose and the groundlessly giddy. Both are clueless as to the bases of their reason. The myth of the left-right paradigm in all its glory. But never forget who lie recessed and virtually invisible.

This radical Right fairy tale, which is now an accepted folk myth in many groups in America, pictured the recent history of the United States, in regard to domestic reform and in foreign affairs, as a well-organized plot by extreme Left-wing elements…. This myth, like all fables, does in fact have a modicum of truth (by becky). There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the Radical right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other group, and frequently does so. I know of the operation of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960’s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies… but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known. — Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time. 1966, New York: Macmillan, 1348 pages. Reprinted by Rancho Palos Verdes: GSG & Associates, 1975

Turd blossom. Not exactly prescient and vatic, eh, Mr. Blossom? As you know, Florida finished counting its votes Saturday, giving Obama a 332 to 206 final margin in the electoral college.

My take. I have said and new as did anyone with two neurons that it would be Hope for the second term, the deuce.

The compendium. The box set. I’ve uploaded a slew of new commentaries. Choc-full of choc.

LIONEL PODCAST: You Have the Right to Defend Your Family, Especially During Times of Disaster! And It’s Hopey for the Deuce.

The heuristic. The most incredible reaction was to that of the ability to self-protect. ‘Twas truly amazing. With all that happened since Sandy you’d think that folks would just intuitively understand that self-protection and preservation were not things or concepts that required explication. But as you can imagine, whenever anyone so much as even hints at self-protection especially via a handgun, the reactions are as predicted.

Vatic psephology. Hopey will win the deuce. And nothing would have been different had Mittens won. That’s the nature of the beast and the game. The left-right paradigm is but an illusion. Two sides of the same coin. That simple. That basic.

LIONEL PODCAST: Hurricane Sandy Devastates New York & The Tri-State Area. And I Should Know.

Surreal? That’s putting it mildly. RT provides yet again superb documentation.

The Financial District. This is mind-boggling. It looks like war-torn Fallujah after we brought democracy to the Iraqis. It’s near Wall Street and the Financial District. On three: WOW!

The eeriest of eerie. Lower Manhattan. South of 40th Street. No lights, no life. An abandoned movie set. Horrific.

Herein a discussion inter alia:

  • Personal experience.
  • Observations and musings.
  • Media coverage.
  • Ted Baxter agog and amok.
  • The seeming rationality of the prepper. They don’t seem as crazy anymore, now do they?
  • Second Amendment, anyone? Especially as to hoards of looters, flash robbing and organizing on Twitter.
  • Cue the HAARP, angel.
