What are the true parameters of evil? That question cannot be answered solely through politics, psychology or criminal law. Evil is not merely disagreement, incompetence or corruption. It is the deliberate degradation of truth, innocence, dignity and human life, especially when cruelty is disguised as progress, compassion or necessity. Politics can organize power, but it cannot fully explain why individuals and institutions sometimes appear drawn toward humiliation, destruction and moral inversion.
Is Satanism alive? Certainly as a cultural symbol, an organized belief system and a form of rebellion against Christianity and traditional morality. Whether one understands Satan literally, metaphorically or theologically, the imagery matters because symbols shape imagination, behavior and boundaries. A society that treats every sacred principle as a joke may eventually lose the vocabulary needed to condemn anything at all.
Spirituality therefore remains essential. It asks questions that elections and legislation cannot: What is a human being? Is conscience real? Are good and evil objective, or merely preferences enforced by whoever holds power? Without a spiritual framework, politics can become a substitute religion, complete with dogma, heresy, rituals and demands for unquestioning obedience.
There may indeed be something deeper than ordinary partisan conflict. Greed, vanity and ambition are familiar, but concentrated evil appears when those impulses merge with ideology, technology, secrecy and institutional power. At that point, wrongdoing becomes systematic. It no longer requires a single villain because entire systems can reward deception and punish truth.
The danger is not seeing demons behind every disagreement. The danger is refusing to recognize spiritual corruption because modern people fear sounding unsophisticated. Politics may describe the battlefield, but spirituality asks what the battle is actually for. If we ignore that question, we may win arguments, elections and headlines while losing the moral foundation that makes victory worth having in the end.
